The process of deconstructing a building constructed with prefabricated concrete elements is remarkably uncomplicated. The elements can be disassembled or lifted down in reverse order from the way they were erected because the building elements typically have simple connectors and were built without demanding seismic requirements. To minimise any damage it is preferable to store the elements with wood spacers in the same position that they were located in the donor building.
